New to board, new best time!
Just wanted to say glad to be onboard. This is a great site! Ran out at Pittsburgh Raceway Park today and the car really came through! Here is the time slip!

I really wanted to get into the 12's but I still don't have the launch down quite yet. Do you guys think it is possible given mods in sig?

You DO have the launch down. No one really cuts better 60' than 1.9x on F1's. I get 1.85 60's occasionally, but that's in an '03 Cobra so it's not apples to apples. You most definitely can hit a 12.9x with your current setup with good air and clean powershifting.

Thanks guys! That was the first time I have put down a 60' under 2.x. Most are 2-2.1 something. I have only run the car a dozen times in 2 years(most this season). I had read about some guys dropping the pressure in F1's down to 22-23 psi, but I have not tried that yet. I had 32 psi all around. The car is still under the factory warranty, so I decided not to touch the engine until it is up. I am trying to go as fast as possible with just setting up the suspension and the few bolt ons for now. There was an older guy running an SS(M6) yesterday with the Lakewood setup under the rear. He was consistantly in the hi 12's with BFG's, stock 10 bolt and gears. The car planted very hard with almost no spin at all. All his 60' were under 2.x. Some of my friends think I should get DR's, but I am concerned about the stock rear. I am only launching at 2000-2500 now. Any more and the car really spins. Anyway, all this is for next year, as the car goes into storage on the 31st.
Pittsburgh is not nice to cars in the winter.

Yeah, no kidding. I lived in Brookline for three years! Nice short time! I can't squeeze out lower than 2.3! What area of the 'Burgh are you in? I still have family in McCandless and Mt. Lebanon.

Up route 28 near exit 5 of the PA Turnpike, back in the woods behind Harmarville. One of my best friends lived in Brookline before moving to Oakmont. Used to be a fantastic little bakery there... can't remember the name..
How long you been in Fla? My mother live near LadyLake in one of the retirement communities.

I am familiar with that area in Harmarville. An alternate route I take to my parent's is 28 to Route 8 into the back side of North Park. Pretty cool! There are a lot of good old bakeries in Brookline on the Boulevard. One of them is the Party Cake shop. It's still there, I think. I am in Winter Springs in Seminole County. It's one county north of Orlando. I moved back to Florida in 1987 and I'm not too far from Lady Lake. That's in Lake county, I think. If so, that's the county due west of me.

Thanx black_z, SM cograts on breaking the 2000 mark!
How long to 4000? If you ever get into this neck of the woods, you have to come out to PRP. Everything is new, track, timing system, lights, snack shack... You get the idea.. I would love to see what a good blown LT1 would do there!
Jabroni, I think the bakery was called the Bluebird Bakery. It closed several years back, but boy did they make some great stuff there! I just cruised over to North Park last weekend just to see if the roads had been fixed, newly paved all the way around! Cops still bust you if you go more that 26 there.
Tomorrow=last day for T/A this season.
Maybe I'll take the work car(96 VW Golf) to PRP Saturday and have some fun!

I got into the 12s (12.81@109.4) last weekend finally. That is an impressive 60' time on F1s. The best I've done is a 1.91 of BFG, but I think that is due to my slipping clutch.
You should be able to do it though. I knocked off .8 seconds this season with only practice; No mods what so ever
