Default Some shakedown results

Well i got coaxed into coming out to the track last night and making a few shakedown passes. I couldn't get the car to 60ft at all, but it ran straight and the converter seemed to work alright for being spec'd for nitrous. The setup is as follows, 2000 T/A stock 346, BRE cam, T4P 243 heads, FAST 92, Edelbrock LT's, 3" TD's with full size ultraflows, M6 was swapped last weekend for a TH400, 10" PTC 4200 stall, umi k member, Strange SA up front, Summit 3 way adjustables out back, stock LCA's, relocation brackets, Jegster Torque arm, and minor weight reduction. The track was skyview, and DA was 2581. The raceweight was 3650, I was on stock wheels all around and some whooped 255/50/16 Mt's out back. Best run went like this:

60ft 1.89
330ft 4.97
660ft 7.55
MPH 95.5

Defn not as good as i was hoping, but corrected it looks like a 7.4@97.5. What i did find is i have quite a few bugs to work out, and to get some weight out of it, also for some reason my shiftlight didnt seem to be working so was tagging the limiter on all the shifts cuz my tach can't keep up. What do you guys think? Overall i guess i can't complain, first time out and nothing broke, drove the car to the track just how i raced it. I know the track sucks but for the life of me i can't figure out why i couldnt 60ft, I ended up peddling a bunch right out of the hole. With my old setup and M6 i could go 1.6-1.7 60 fts in this configuration with more weight in the car!

Kyle,
Don't worry about those times....in my opinion, they are good shakedown numbers. My old LT1 combo ran low 12's@120 my first time out. With just seat time and cooler weather (no tuning or mechanical changes) it ended up running low 11's@126.

I'm sure you'll be in the 10's@125+ with some fine tweaks and better weather.

I made a couple more passes last night, and unfortunately they weren't much better. DA was 2801.

60ft: 1.65
330ft: 4.78
1/8: 7.30
MPH: 96.1

I am still having traction problems, the car hooks and then spins the tires. The shiftlight has stopped working again, and im still tagging the limiter which doesn't help either. I think the car needs a different converter, and some more gear to go fast NA.
