Default Fastest Time-Bolt ons& NOS

I was just wondering what kinda 1/4 mile times people were running with some bolt ons and NOS on their LS1's. I have alot of people not believe me when I tell them what I use to run with Headers, cat-back exhaust, tuner, suncoast ram air, McLoed clutch, Moser 12 bolt with 4.10 gears, BMR torque arm, LCA's, panhard rod and slick on my 2000 T/A.

back in 2001 I took my 01 ss with a centerforce clutch and 4.10 gears (10bolt).

Thats it stock manifolds through the stock exhaust and cats even. It went 10.95 at 122 with a tnt 150 shot. It did have bogarts with m/t et streets to help it hook. 1.53 60 foot.

i went mid 11s with a 100 shot and full boltons

I could see a bolt on/nitrous car going 9s with the right combo.
Someone has probably done it!

I think 9's may be a stretch, may be possible though.

For those guys who had/have bolt ons and nitrous, would you rather have a cam or leave it with nitrous?

I like it the way it is. It drives like stock off the bottle making for a pleasant daily driver and still gets pretty close to 30mpg highway.

Both!

FWIW When all I had was a catback and a lid the best time I could muster was a 12.3 then again the 1.9 60' didn't help, I bet with some mickey's and a nice 1.7 60' that'd be high 11's Pretty fast for a stock car with just nitrous

I haven't been to the track with the spray since the cam, but I think it'd be pretty pointless without mickey's and a rear

You need to ask for weight also. These guys running deep into the 10s are sitting around 2900 lbs. Yeah, it's stock motor and nitrous... but an additional 500lbs out of the car makes a bit of a difference

3500lb raceweight and a 150 shot I went 11.07 @ 121

Oh yeah! I forgot my raceweight was pretty high because I had a bunch of stuff in my car, aka subs and amp, so I think it was at like 3700 or so maybe a little more !

Went 11.13 @ 122 1.51 50ft. in Vegas 3650 lbs.

I managed to run a 10.81 on a 150 shot. I could pull the front wheels up a little bit on slicks. I had a lot of torque for some reason. I'll have to put up a pic of my dyno sheet. I think it was around 680.

My '98 SS ran 11.3x's with a 150 shot and a K&N and otherwise stock. Then added all the bolt-on stuff and ran consistent 10.9x's, back in 2002.

BBk intake stal bolt ons and I am at about the tops of tens aka 11.2 but in my defense had spin and nnever had the second chance
