Finally got to the track
Ok so I made my first runs ever at Rock Falls Raceway today. My car is ls6intake/full exhaust/nitto drag radials.
best time was 13.6@104 most of my other runs were in the 13.7's @103 or 104
My 60ft time was never below 2.18
I expected better but I guess it's probably the 2.73 gears and the need for a stall.
I think the gears really killed me off the line. I found it best to just stomp on the gas from idle and not foot brake it.

those gears are probably doing you in. My car with the mods in my sig does 13.3 on street tires with a 2.0 60' consistently. And I'm still on a stock tune.
Alot of bolt on guys are going right into the 12's. I would get some 3:73's and maybe a retune and see if you can't get it into the 12s.
What was the weather like, I would think wisconsin this time of year would have good racing weather.

The weather has been wacky. Today it's mid to low 50's with a chance of some frost tonight. Just a few weeks ago it was in the 90's

The Density Altitude I am unsure of.. is there an easy way to figure that out?

I would say a retune and gears, would put you into the 12's probably. Add a stall and a trans cooler, hope the 10 bolt holds and you should be mid 12's. Thats my plan when I can get some money up.

As for a gear swap, skip it for now. 2.73's to 3.42's didn't do much for my car. That money is better spent on a converter. A converter netted me a solid .6 in the 1/4.

I never ran my car stock but, with the below mods I ran 13.0 @ 107-108 with 2.73s. So, I would say its not so much the gears but the tune and I dont even have the best tune! Its just a little ol' Diablo tune!
