YUP I got that bellow off your thread about it. Works mint, thanks alot just cut it down to fit. The TB cut has a little angle too it, And I noticed this little cool tip. It fits on the TB great at 4.0 But the 85mm maff is little smaller, so you can to clamp it down a little. You can move the clamp around (left/right/under) and depending on were the screw tighens up the extra slack it will change that way it fits to the MAFF. One way it fits worse and puts like a wave on the outisde, and a bubble hump on the top. So it would flow like **** for a smooth turn like on a head. But with the screw of the clamp in the right spot it pulls the extra slack just right so the turn is mint And the top of the maff going into the bellow it a little long and stock in past on the short turn. So I cut like a 22* on the end of the maff going itno the bellow. Like 3/4 off the top, blending it to the middle of the side of the maff. Its all flows smooth now.

That just one of the 1000X little things that make a car run good. Nothing sloppy, look at everything!!!!! The fit of every part!!!!! It adds up I'm telling you guys.

haha, ya raw sunoco hood run faster, the paint adds weight

The power numbers are not that impressive lol. Look at every thread I started and your find a lot of info. read them all you'll learn alot, its some work but you have to keeo pluging away at it, and not just add more mods for more power then think it works like that.
Back when I 1st put this cam in like 2 yrs ago, with a S60 with 3:73 gears (that made ~15 less then the 10bolt) put down 420whp/390wtq, The stock LS6/ported stock TB/ maf with screen. Most m6 cars on 10bolts do 415-425? on stock heads, with a fast92 I few 430's and most was 441 mike said with this cam? Its ran a 11.5 @121 1st day at the track. On these same gregweld fronts/moroso DS2 (1st time racing on them even, lol) I think best was a 11.6 @ 121 on the stock size 245 summer tires for the year.

Then I put more gear (4:30's) and got 28inch DR I drive on the street everyday on the stock 16" wheels. Got that to a 11.44 on them, and a 11.27 @ 123.9 best end of last year the race wheels. Did alot of works on weight reduction over the winter. But adding weight with the wolfe rollbar. And was stock at 11.1s all spring, and in the summer was going 11.30s in the heat. maybe a 11.2x at night? But then tested intakes, and it was made 404whp with the bigger Drs and 4:30 gears. (true trac also this whole time, also 60's were hi 1.5s maybe a 1.55?) But went to a fast92/92 85mm and it was at 413whp. Went 11.04 @125 on a 1.55 probally, but it was spinning. Then started haveing troble with the car not going stairt and turning. Made a post about it, thought it was the true trac guys had troble racing on them. So a spool in, same night put a pair of thouse some cheap summit /destech 3way adjustable rear shocks. I traded to BigKap on here. Then the car started launching starit, I doidnt even realize how much I was steering the car. And it started geting really good 60's and running consistant. That was a huge change, then adjusting things worked and the 60's came down, it wasn;t spinning. It got 1.59s 1.58s on the stock wheels ran some 11.20s... 124 I think, but it was as fast, as was going on the race wheels. I raced on the Drs for a while and had fun last month. The in the fall and the better weather went 10.80s getting high 1.4s. on the drag wheels. These 60's were good on the 10.7s, But I see in the vid it was wheelie too much and bouncing even. I can tighen the front shocks up, and think there room to improve still.

Cool, thanks. My story is pretty similar to yours. I just need to get the car dialed in a little better and see what happens.

Get a good video camara, and have somone tape the runs well. I learned a ton from that, the camara is great for knows whats going on. It picks up slicks spining you dont hear watching. You can ask 3-4 friends ther watching at the line and in the stands.
"It looked like it hooked and bogged, rasie the tire pressuer for some wheels speed"
"It bogged, raise the 2step more"
"I think I heard the other car spin?"

Than at home the next day watch the passes on the computer and you clearly hear it ripping the tires bad. And you made the wrong adjustments all night. This happened alot, like in this vid (this was stock rear shocks 71K, truetrac, LS6 TB)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L70SAvYtHNo

Some spin is needed "wheel speed" very important for us M6 guys. alot so for use low power guys in the low 400whp. That can do a dead hook, bog...... and fall on there face to pull the motor down to 3500rpms.

yes what I have noticed helps even more is the colder the air the more affect is has over da…obviously they go hand in hand but if you have the same -500ft da day and one has a temp of 45 while the other is 50, you will run faster on the 45 degree day…

I just raced last weekend in over 1200ft ish da was around 60* and lost 3mph over my best, when it was 41* out

So pray for cold air along with good DA…

nice mph, i knew i should have dropped more weight...you will be much higher on the list soon enough

Are you saying that DA isn't always equal? Like 500ft DA isn't always 500 ft DA? Doesn't that defeat the purpose??

somewhat yes...it really only seems to be a major difference with the real cold air days like 40-50 degrees…

when it is middle of summer my car is usually loses around 1mph for every 1000ft DA…but like I just showed I lost 3mph from my last best to what I ran yesterday…da of 1200ft ran 122mph…-870ft 125mph…so I should have lost only 2mph but I lost 3…

when the air gets in the 40s the affect seems to be exponential…
