New PB: Cam only m6!!! (11.23@121)

Big thanks to you Larry and the rest of the guys at Speed Inc. None of this would be possible without you guys. I'll be in touch over the winter to pick up a drag bar. Besides a drag bar the only other mods over the winter will be a more weight reduction and possibly rework my exhaust setup. I might have you guys strap her to the dyno again to freshen up the tune and see if she's gained any power with the lighter drivetrain mods. I'm going to try take this SI5 into the 10s next year!!!

Took the car to Byron today to make a couple passes in some good air and the car ran great. Pulled it off the trailer and I imediately ran an 11.45 which beat my old PB of 11.64. Then I started adjusting tire psi and the 2-step and by the end of the day I left with new PB of 11.23@121 with a 1.56 60'. Here are my 4 best E.T.s of the day and a few action shots too.

What size tire were you running? Those are some great times for your power. My clutch locked up on me that day. Never made a clean pass. I am very dissapointed. It was my first time out with the 2-step. Only made one whole shot with it and the clutch would not dissengage for the 1-2 shift. Then it locked up on the next burnout for good.

I did not see any cars run. Only from the staging lanes did I see a couple cars. I wanted to see your car run. There were quite a few cars there that could get down. I need to race more often so I can stay in rythm. But this time it was more of a mechanical issue.
Yeah, it bogged because I was just learning to use the 2-step and needed more time to kick up the rpms. I launched at 6k at the highest and managed a 1.59 60'. Then it would not let me shift into 2nd. But I am confident I could have seen 1.4X 60s with more RPMs.

Congrats on the NB your car is getting down. I made a couple runs at Byron on the 25th and the car was twisting so bad I called it quits after a couple passes. Results were 11.193 @119 1.48 sixty
11.103 @119 1.46 sixty
UMI bar has been ordered.
