ms3 in the 1/8
hey guys, im running the mods in my sig(MS3). Im just curious to see what some people ran/trap speed.
Im alittle shy to say that the best time i could dish up on street tires was an 8.6 with my highest trap speed being i think 89mph with a solid 2.0 60ft.
im sure i could have been running better times but i was running my stock master cylinder and really couldnt get it in third not to mention i was sitting sides down half the track..

I dont have ms3 times but i feel ur pain. get some slicks on that beast and go to town. when my car was stock i dropped .7 off my times by getting m/t et street radials and learning how to launch on those. m6 and street tires = slip and slide

thank god im not alone hahaha. i actually did get the tick master cylinder now i can bang gears in my car. what was really cool about the ms3 is that i raced and 80's monte carlo with slicks and a 383. he easily pulled hard off the line by 2 or 3 cars right at the end i pulled right up to his door couldnt get it in third and he ended up beating me by a car i was so pissed hahah i could of had that win

I agree from the mods in your list you should still have alot more mph in it. I have about the same bolt on's and a tr230-236 and trapped 90mph,8.20's on street tires,and2.08 60'. This was on a hot and humid day in june,116mph in the 1/4.This is with stock heads and injectors. Hopefully that shifting problem was robbing alot of your potential. good luck.

uh. i'd expect much more from a setup like that mphwise. i'd expect a head/cam car to easily be trapping 95+. are you racing in the mountains or something? being untuned definately isn't helping, but i've seen m6 lid/muffler cars trap 87-88 at full weight all else stock.
all of the local ms3 cars were very slow given the size of the cam. they all trapped about what yours does (and some less)...which i give to a poor tune. i have seen very few ms3 cars run to their potential, be it the tune, driver, whatever..
