New Best: Cam Only...10s getting close
#41
Her car is still a daily driver so ya she wants a cam she can use everyday. She runs a 3600Vig and a stock 3.42 6 spd rear like yours.
You would benefit from more sidewall on a 15" rim but these 17" DRs still amaze me. You are both pulling the same 60'. The suspension on her car is 100% bone stock. Her car pulls a front full size 17" off the ground. The new drag pack that i made is the lightest 17" rim that will fit the 275/40/17. My gto spare front runners with spacer are only 28.5lbs. Stock 2000 corvette thinspokes on the rear weighed it at 18lbs without the tire.
Who tuned your car? I didn't get to watch many of your runs but one of the runs i heard you bouncing on the 2-3 limiter pretty bad. She has had some trouble with that in the past. I think we solved it by going in HP tuners and put a smaller tire size in.
To get better air you are most likely going to have to wait until november. We do a lot of rentals with some other groups but if you could get a day like my gf had when she ran her 11.70 you would run a 10 sec pass. That day everyone was setting new PBs, Ranger did a new record for the stock C6Z drag radial. Yesterday was good though.
Here is a shot of her car last fall.

A little update, I got my raceweight down to 3490lbs. That puts the car around 3210-3220 without me. I want to get my race weight down to 3400-3450lb with me.
Also using these two links below instead of dragtimes, the DA on my 11.12 pass was -1013. Also ran this past weekend, the car went a best of 11.302 @ 119.22mph with a soft 1.57 60ft. The DA on that pass was +483. I had 60ft problems all day, best was 1.55. Trying to figure out what the car likes with the front and rear shock setting, I was able to get it to leave nice straight though. When I got home, I realized I had cords showing through the tires. I'm sure that could have hurt the 60' a little.

Thanks Mike for the compliments. Your mk3 looks great and runs great. I have all ways like the way mk4 tt wheels looked on the the mk3s.
Thanks man, I cant wait. Do you think I have the mph in 1/8th and 1/4 to pull it off? Yeah this friday is suppose to be a high of upper 50s and low of upper 30s...

Greg called it a SST89-6 and the stall speed is 46-4800 on the brake. I'm still getting used to the auto terminology but it has the capability to be sent back and upgraded if I ever move up in hp down the road. Greg was excellent to deal with!

Without a doubt Greg and all guys at FTI are excellent to deal with. Andy let me know once you get all in running and let me know what you think of it. Your gonna love that stall.

I went to JLs house in CT this past weekend and the temp when I went through Maryland was not very racer friendly for an all out fastest NA pass.

Sorry to hear, you need to find another 25hp or lose a little weight.
Anyway it seems your car is consistent which ain't a bad thing. keep trying man and I will keep pulling for ya. lol
