All I had was a TSP standard lid...

When I was SI, it was full weight, never had it on a dyno, and the tune was just something I whipped up one night over a few (10-12) miller lites...

Ive seen some local d00d trap 115 in his full interior and a/c mediocre bolt on z28, it was a hardtop base though. Also on 93. Im sure with Some E85 and an aftermarket intake he'd see 116-117.

It should not be hard to beat that time, I Know the recipe for sucess. Hell i ran the 11.47 in 2000 or 3000 + da whatever it was lol. I can only imagine what my car would of ran in cold weather. It ran an 11.62 in - da without being able to power shift it, that was pretty dang good. I think power shifting gives me at least 2 tenths if not 3 and some mph.

Now i have weak valve springs, something everyone should check and a cylinder with a little low compression, something everyone should check also.

Thanks for posting your setups guys, they don't look bad at all and should be able to run 11's with ease. Getting the tune spot on for the day makes a world of a difference as to what it can run from my experiences. So have a good wideband that is properly installed.

after setting my best time with a/c and ftra,my plan was to try no a/c and the cris1313 ram air,its definetly a better setup, good luck to yall.
ps get rid of the et street
Whats wrong with the et street bias ply's? I like mine and on my 2nd set with tubes and wheel screws this time lol. I would not doubt the hoosiers are better tho or just get an et drag.

The only bit of weight loss I had was tubular suspension and welds. When it went a .422 I still had the AC on the car, full interior, but no bar.

Had the standard bolt ons... Kook's, mufflex 4", 9" rear, meziere pump, etc etc. Yeah the DA was LOW (definately in the -'s) but ultimately it was the fact that everything came together at the right time. The track was perfect and hooked, launch was perfect, and shifting was perfect.

I know for a fact that a few people have a car that would easily beat my times. It wasnt so simple... I broke tons of ****, and probably put 200 passes on the car before getting the combo and conditions right.

All Im saying is before you start going ***** out crazy on ****, look at what you got now, and make it perfect.... If your bogging/spinning, can the tune take more, how is your gearing and RPM through the traps....get all that stuff right and some of these guys are gonna destroy my old times

ET Drags...28 x 10.5's. I ran the standard sidewall, but only got about 30 passes before the sidewall got too soft

Yeah some people need a little more money and some people just need a little spare time, but the record will go down soon. It'll be in the low 11's if not high 10's within the next year.

Ive been hearing several people talking about the sidewalls getting too soft on theirs but i have no idea what it looks like or what to look for. Ive always heard to run a stiff sidewall for a stick car also. Pretty sure my old et streets sidewalls are wore out badly.

ia hvnt done any testing but i do read alot on various forums and the more experience guys that drive manuals prefer stiffwall slicks over regular slicks.almost all choose slicks over et streets, also hoosiers seem to be stickier and lighter

i havnt heard of anyone running a toyo slick on the board with great success but 9"wide seems perfect,to me 10"wide is to wide for only 360rwhp.if you can hook it smaller is better less rotational weight

in my auto i was running a tiny tire compared to the other s.i guys.mine was 235/60/15

8"wide,26"tall.best 60'of 1.55

manuals are a totally different animal and im not expert.
one question for you black n pink, why havnt you gone to the track, and if you have whats your p.b
