how many of you guys use scoop??

because i've ordered my Sunoco style from VFN, and last week some of the guys in my class (N/A) have told me that the scoop will shave at least 0.1-0.2 from my ET!!!

ran a best of 9.27@146 N/A and hopefully soon will see the 8's

Anytime you can force outside air into an engine it will help...

BTW... This is where you stand on the N/A list. Do you need an update?

770 boy went 8.47 @ 160 NA last week. Time slip and video posted in drag results. Going for the 30's and lower in the next two weeks if weather permits.

new best on the last day of tnt @ KCIR. Same 3 yr old 454 lsx, Patrick G hyd. cam, L92's, 92 octane pump gas, 3274#, th400, hoosier 295 dr's, SV-1 carb, MSD distributor, street car!


DA was +600

60' 1.394 with the rear tires

1/8 mile 5.955 @ 113.83

1/4 mile 9.432 @ 140.69

its worth over .1 and 1 mph on my setup. I'm taking full advantage of VFN's 4" SS hood. The bottom of my hood seals up tight to my carb pan.

Well the 8.47 did not last long. Went 8.29@163 see video and time slip in drag race results thread. Please update when you have time.

Just wanted to update my info. Last weekend went 9.10@148mph and my personal best of 9.08@149mph, want to thank all the people that help me . Patrick Barnhill of PTP Racing, Geoff Skinner of EPS Racing, Mad man Brian, Eric of Procell machine, Don of Baker transmissions, and my secret weapon ,big G. i would like to update my time. i went to the track with madman tonight (3/11/2011) the car at 3160lb race weight went a 8.60 at 158.41 with a 1.24 60ft. i will post a time slip soon
