Default new pb 10.24 @ 134 stock ls1

well the other saturday was my last chance to race for this season, i almost didnt go due to very strong winds all day infact for a few hours the track was shut down to only 1/8th mile due to 20 mph head winds , but they ended up letting us run 1/4 mile and even with the strong head wind i ended up setting a new pb, it was 10.24 at 134, the mph was down a few from my best mph due to the wind, the 60ft was a 1.45 here is a video some one recorded from the stands of the pass.

i was going to swap out the t56 this winter for a auto and go for 9s but when i got home from the races and was parking the oil pressure went to 0 so i am victim of the ls1 oil pump curse, so i am swapping in a ls6 crate motor and staying stick for this next season, i hope to still break into the 9s with the ls6.

stock block, stock crank, rods and pistons and rings, stock heads, stock cam, stock intake, over 100k on the motor before i got it. i did put ls6 valve springs in it and hardened push rods after reading that the stock springs and push rods are crap, i also replaced the rod bolts and head bolts with arp but the bearings and head gaskets are stock. basically the motor still thinks its in a 98 camaro. the trick to it all is 9 pounds of boost here is a pic

I was like stock LS1!! The mph was crazy and thought you had something force into that bastard. Where are the coil packs hidden?
