man and here i was worried about running a 150 shot on the forged 416 I am building LOL. if that engine can hold a shot that makes 255 more wheel hp I am sure I can bump mine up to a 200 shot, im sure its all in pulling back the timing anyways. just wish there was a way I could run a duel tune

if this is the bottom end im thinking it used to set on the line bouncing off 7300 and then side stepping the clutch in a heads/cam/nitrous car...sure is a tough one

Brian Tooley's old heads cam 97 stock bottom end C5 took a 250 hit as well. That car made 700rwhp through a 4l60 blowing through the convertor! These little motors take more than people give them credit for, all in the right tuneup to make one live and make power.

Nice work. If you have 75 lbs in the trunk.. I'd try to make use of that weight. Maybe 2 batteries, and ditch the ALT, save a hp or 2...

If ya have to carry ballast, and you're not putting it in the corners to balance the car mine as well do something useful with it

I watch these Tick cars on a regular week in week out basis at the Rock and Piedmont and these cars are the real deal, watching them run this little 346 on such a violent hit gives me more confidence in running my 600rwhp combo out the back door at 6600rpm off the limiter once or twice in 3rd going thru the traps. The 1/8th doesn't scare me, but once I cross that 1000' mark I always wonder will it let go this time. Especially at the Rock Saturday, it was 100 degrees and I forgot my gas can with me and couldn't get any 110 put in the tank, so I was running precariously for sure with the heat index!!! She's still kickin though!
