Curt I told ya the day you guys came down to just get the 10 pt in the car and be done with it... the nitrous had you fast enough to need it and you didn't even put any power to it!

Nice to see the car running well. You get the thing dialed in and put 14 lbs to it you'll probably have enough to go 9.0 with it.

Does it run on pump fuel at all still? If so that's great, you can even drive that thing around. Nice work.

Judging by your reaction time you have ALOT of work to do off the starting line. I could run ya with a car that's a second slower and win no probltm right now. Probably 2 seconds if we go of a pro tree

Give me a break. It was my first time at the track with the new setup and I wasn't even trying to run the tree. I don't race competitivly and probably never will. It's really just a street car.

Car may actually go faste that way.. it will load the motor alot harder in 1st and get the boost up faster. Drive on the street like a stock car too.

I don't know where your trap mph was, but if you figure it out to be more then 8% slippage then the converter needs adjusting not the gear... if that had anything to do with the reason for the change.

the car drives awesome on the street. i was on the limiter at the end, just ordered some 3.42's tho. my converter slip was right around 6%

That's the problem. That needs to be bumped up to about 7500. No need not to... just make sure the valve springs are up to the task, and keep about an extra 1/2 qt of oil in the motor and you'll be fine.

Im not going to change what my tuner has set it at, he put it there for a reason. Remember this is a turbo car. Not a high winding n/a setup. Honestly I think going threw the traps at about 64/6500 would be optimal for my setup.

Do what you are comfortable with I guess. I wouldn't call 7500 a high winding setup... if you were trying to spin it to 8000+ then I would say that.

Retard the cam 2 degrees and it will pick up alot on the top end I bet, unless that's totally out of the compressor map's usable range (not sure what you went with for a turbo) it will work pretty well I'd think.
