99 ss -
Ran today at MIR.
DA was -750 at the time of the pass, good conditions but not the fall mine shaft air that everyone dreams about, 1st rental of the year but the prep was very good.
My car:
99 SS 6spd with 132k miles. stock internal ls1(still has the ls1 intake and 853 heads), stock shocks and springs, typical bolts ons major one being 9 inch w/4.11, long tubes, hi flow cats through the stock SS cat back, lid, lca, umi tq arm relocated off the trans. And I tuned it off the narrowbands, couldn't get my wideband working at the time. Stock weight.
Et streets @ 17psi cold
Launch was from 4000 rpm (quick release)
pinion angle -2 seemed to yield the least vibration so that is where I left it.
1.80
5.33
8.21 / 84.21
12.77 @ 108.90
I'm pretty happy with the results, I feel it has at least a 12.50 with better driving(still learning the release of the clutch). I'm wondering if I might have better luck lowering the air pressure down to 14 or 15psi.
Thanks,

I would say you should be much faster. Your mph is way down......well time should be quicker to. You should be 112+ mph. You may need to practice your driving.
I'm not trying to bust your chops. But with a d/a like that and assuming there is nothing wrong with your car, bottom 12's should be easily attainable.

3500 - bogged
4000 - bogged maybe a little on the 12.77 pass
5000 - spun hard
went back to 4000 and it spun again by that point there had been several oil downs and they had just had another one so I packed up and headed home.
Shift light is set for 5900.
I have relocation brackets for the LCA in the lowest hole.
Again, is 17psi to high for ET Streets should I go lower.
Next time out I will get some video and log the passes via hptuners and have a working wideband so I can verify the tune.
With a stock internal motor(again 853 heads and ls1 intake) and my setup what should my 60ft be on ET streets 1.6 or 1.7????
Thanks for the feed back.

You should not be spinning on that et street even @ 5000. My guess is that you need to slip the clutch just a little(do a qiuck release type) and then don't lift your rt foot on the gear changes. My car trapped almost 108 stock and over 109 with only a airlid and a granetelli maf and I was in no where near that kind of air. You just need a little pratice and some double checking on your car.

Is the car stock ride height? If so you might want to try moving the LCA's to the middle hole.
Where is the front TQ arm mount set at for these runs?
BTW I don't think your trap speed is low at all for whats done to the car. 109 with only LT's and a 9" is right on par with what is considered "normal"

UMI suggested the top hole on the relocation braket for the front so that is where it's at for now.

Launching!

Years ago (and 4 different engines) I bought a Moser 9" for my turd gen. It's been hands down the best thing I've ever bought for my car. Tons of hard launches, beat on while street driving, and the best part is you never have that little piece of doubt bothering you everytime you're running the car through the gears.

That's what I was thinking. This was my first time out on ET Streets and 2nd time in 5 years out to the track so I'm getting back into the routine and improvements should come with more practice.
I figured with this car I wanted a drivetrain shouldn't break, so I went with the moser 9inch w/wavetrac, monster stg III and the t56 was gone through once and the usual upgrades were done.
95% Street car but when I go to the track I don't want to be the jerk that breaks something and people need to wait an hour before running again.

60 foot is still garbage, 1.87 and 1.89.
Launching from around 4k, 14psi cold.
Driverside axle seal started leaking so I only got 4 passes.
Also, I'm definitely hitting the bumpstops. Was dirty before now a clean spot on either side. Didn't do that at MIR. It certainly looks like its leaving harder than the 60' is yielding.
