Is the air box mod just the bottom of the box cutout? Just wondering cause mine has two open (square) holes under the filter making the top radiator support visible. I just don't see anywhere else to remove more plastic...

Cut the plastic behind those holes.. CUT THE ENTIRE BASE OUT! im telling you it worth a lot... i ported my T/B and maf housing a lil bit and removed screen and put lid on all at once... Then i did the airbox mod about 2 weeks later.. picked up way more from airbox mod than from the other mods..

Going by how you describe it, I think it's already done. There's nothing between the filter and the metal radiator support....there's a ledge for the filter to rest on, but other that there's nothing there.

the two holes making core support visible is stock. i actually blasted part of my core support with the plasma cutter to open it up even further...... if the holes are only on the front half of the lower, then thats stock...cut the plastic behind that... expose EVERYTHING you can of the stock filter..

Got it! Thanks a ton, man!
Free mods I have are, FRA, Ported TB, Bumpstop Mod, and that's it so far. Haven't done the TB bypass yet. Plan on pulling the washer fluid tank completely to try and get more air through there (and cut holes through the styrofoam behind the front bumper).

Well, to be honest it hasn't missed a beat since that day at the track. I know I gotta stall it, but I can't decide if I want to buy a build kit or somebody else's built trans...or keep what I got until it takes a dump. The money has been squirrel nested for whatever, just tough letting that cash go, lol.

Correction... I def do NOT have the FRA mod done. I got under the hood this after noon and see what you guys are talking about now. I'm going to break out the dremel with a cutting wheel tomorrow and take care of it. Could it pick up as much as 1 mph from doing this? Seems like it would to me, maybe 2, IDK.
