Default 2002 TA A4 vs. 2006 GTO M6

here a vid of me and my roommate i have the 02 ta a4, current mods in sig (plus stock 273s) , roommate mods:06 goat m6, volant cold air, pacesetter LT's. Our da in az was f'n highhhh...was hoping for 12s but 373s and stall soon should take care of that .
trans am - 13.2 at 108 - my only pass, also my first
gto- 13.7 at 103 (missed 3rd) he was pissed so didnt run again

any guesses on what my et's and mpg gains would be with 373s and a 3600 stall??

I love seeing the MPH on the back end over take the GTO. Nice kill. What was your 1/8th mile, 8.3ish?

Not bad for your first pass! I would work on getting that car into the 12s as it sits before doing too much more to it. A stall and gears could put you in the low 12s or high 11s with some practice.

Having a bad pass only motivates me to run again.

no i have not, is it worth it? im in az and im sure there is a ton of heat in the engine bay.. questioning the fast toys ram air too because the asphalt is so damn hot out here ill be pulling in 130 degrees plus in the summer, but winter...the car screams.. if i did drill the bottom air box should i block off the front slit or keep it open? thanks!

its the best mod ever dollar spent per hp gained..... cut out entire lower airbox and cut the plastic shroud below it... you'll gain at least 2mph from it... its pretty retarded as to how much it really gains.. its unreal to me... that lil slit is like sucking through a pinched straw.. leave the slit open.. it needs all the air it can get.

well if this gives you an idea, i picked up 5 tenths and 2mph in my bolt on C5 going from a stock converter with 2.73 gears to a 3400 converter and shift kit(about 2yrs ago) then i bought a circle D 4000-4200 converter and dropped another .14 off my 60' and .25 off my 1/4 mile

I have a b&m on mine. Have you talked to Sean at Topgear Motorsports out here In mesa? Great shop good guys over there. They're going to be pulling my converter soon and replacing it with a 4k+ stall
