Default Kinda slow quarter mile?

Im guessing 4,000 elevation really affects times?

I took my a4 '02 z28 camaro to the track last friday and the best i was running was 13.9s. Idk that seems a bit of a high time for me. What do you guys think?

Elevation of el paso/clint texas is about 4,000ft.
My mods are as follows: SLP air lid, kn air filter, AIR delete, longtubes, ORY pipe, slp loudmouth 1, 3.73 gears, untuned.

I also ran with street tires with that 13.9 and launched at about 1,800 rpms. Didn't really spin a lot or at least i don't remember. But friends did say i was spinning a little bit (if not, a lot). Also all runs were done in 3rd gear.

Ill appreciate your opinions greatly.

My elevation is around 3600 but density altitude was around 5,000 with our dry weather and hot summer days i was running 13.7 with longtubes and a drop in k&n filter free mods.

What was the da? Thats a big factor that needs to be posted.
Where your from the da was probably high enough to explain your time slip. I think your times are not bad and probbly on par. Ill tell you one thing though...get a ssra.

My best time there is a 13.73 the times are right for the location. Maybe you didn't notice everyone else running high times.

I have taken my C5 Z06 to El Paso Motorplex a couple of times and my best time so far is a 13.2 @ 107. Stock engine with worn Nitto NT05. In other parts of the country stock C5 Z06s are running low 12s and even high 11s, so yeah, altitude definitely takes its toll.

i raced at desert demon in 08 wheni was at ft bliss and best i could do on an airstrip type track was 14.7 stock form (98 ls1 with A4) nothing but a lid and muffler.
at a preped track i coudl only manage a 14.0 still the same setup. now im hoping for mid 13s with a stall and LS6 and LT headers and 295 rear tires. hope to see ya'll out there when i get there in sept time.

It's deff the elevation, DA and such. My best time at Desert Demons was a 13.84, best time at EP Motorplex was a 13.7. When I moved to PhX, AZ I went to Speedworld and went to 13.1. Big change with the same exact mods.
