I have an ls1 rx7 with dual cats 2.5in exhaust,x pipe, K&N intake, stock maf is on and everything else is stock. The car is a little less then 3k pounds I believe. From what I have seen this is pretty bad even for my bad 60ft.
Think I am down on power somehow?
Wheels: 17x10 245/40 Direzza zII tires.
Best time: (With passenger)
2.225 60ft
5.927 330ft
8.871 660ft @ 82.98mph
11.371 1000ft
13.484 @ 105.68mph

Between added weight of a passenger w 17s and a pretty rough 60 I think there's the problem. I think you're trapping well for a stock ls1 though. A lot of locals here are trapping 102ish in full weight stock fbodies.
Sticky tires lose the passenger you'll see improvements. Add a set of lighter wheels and see even more. You get to a 2.0 60 and you're looking at 13.0.

What does DA stand for and I can tell you. Here is a link to the run. I am not sure if it will help.

Density altitude. It takes into consideration temp barometric pressure altitude humidity. I don't know the equation but it basically tells you with the current conditions you are running at x feet above or below sea level.
Below sea level(negative da) will net better ets and mph due to denser air with more oxygen. Most times that guys post up are under these conditions.

Ohh its at about 505 feet above sea level. It was around 60 some degrees out...humidity was low. There was also a slight head wind idk how much though like maybe 5-10mph.

Well its a built transmission (tick stage 2) and pro 5.0 shifter. Its kinda notchy (i dont know how else to describe it) so going fast in it seems kinda strange. I was also advised to make my rear shocks as soft as possible they are adjustable and set at the hardest setting currently. Its an ls1 I got the rev limiter set to 6300rpm so I shift about 6200rpm. Just makes me mad it wants to go to 5th just before the end....

You don't want the rears super soft. You want them stiff enough so when the weight transfers at launch, they push the rear to the ground. Most guys use the ce adjustable shocks on the rear of fbodies and set them at 50/50.

It looks like it has decent power, but the 60' is a killer. A good launch would be below 2.00 for that set up. .2-.3 tenths there will be even more on the other end.

in my opinion.....
1 get some drag radials ,
2 race alone
3 pretty sure you left off idle. try to pull the rpms up , (after step 1)
4 keep at it adjusting the suspension, youll get the tweeks worked out. (after steps 1,2 ,and 3)
