I've put thousands of miles on 8 and 9 plugs with no issues. Haven't fouled a single plug. I've had the 8's I'm on now in for the last few months. Still a closed loop maf tune. 22* idle spark and 14.4-14.6 a/f.

If the tune-up is right, if the plug being used is correct in heat range......basically as long as it isn't an idiot with pump gas and TR6 or BR7 plugs trying to duplicate this with those parameters, then it's not as outlandish as you may think. A stock bottom end can handle this kind of power if it's done right. Will it last forever....heck no, but can you have some fun for a while....heck yes!
Thats very nice how good can they take some good shots of N2O

martin would you be willing to share the details of your setup? I have a 99
z28 a4 and an o1 c5 m6 both mostly stock and I have 2 nx wet kits with accessories that I was thinking on 150.

There is a thread in the nitrous section under my old sn fbodyjunkie06 that shows everything I did with that set-up.

We have been 5.95 @114 in the 1/8 cam, bolt ons and nitrous at 3125 lbs with a 4L60E. Stock intake, heads, throttle body. Never made it to a 1/4 mile track before we put a set of cnc ls6 heads ,super vic and fogger on it. That pass was in 600 da.

Rossler Terminator 3 with transbrake. Never used the brake on spray though. 1.23-1.25 60 ft consistent. Put about 250 passes on trans and never an issue. Is in another car now that has a 408 and nitrous.
