Yeah that's what I was thinking, nothing steeper than a 3.90. I'm gonna tackle the convertor problem 1st though.

listen to this guy...! We just pulled a 1.57 with a Waaaayyy too tight, JUNK, tci 3800, 238/242, 799 heads, with a Guess what???.....2.73 gear and a TH-350

How heavy is the car ? the more the car weights the more gear it needs. I run those gears in my auto 4L60e 4,200 converter 28in tall tire All motor cuts 1.3's sixty foot. 3,460 raceweight.

Not sure on the weight, I have taken some weight out but added a 12 bolt. I haven't had it on a scale so far.

Problem solved, the limiter was set at 7k. However I dont have a speedo hooked up and the rev limiter with a vss fault was set at 6200. Changed it to 7k and it went out the back door at 119
