Oh I live in fort myers, on the other coast, your sons car, is that hood made or did he have the cowl added and molded to the hood?

 

It's a Glastech hood. Made in Chicago I believe

 

Just a quick little update since it's been a while. Both cars are running in the 10's now. My son added a turbo this summer and I am hitting mine with a N2O plate kit with 150 jets plus I swapped to a 4L80 transmission. I ran a 10.30@131 before putting the car away for winter.

Well, we kind of put them away. As you can see they came apart again for more mods and I am selling my nitrous to boost.

 

Never thought my car would come have come this far in such a short amount of time. Would like to see 900-1000 rwhp with this set up. BW 480 billet, solid roller, forged ls1, trick flow 215 heads. Lets see if the boy can keep up now. ;-)
