Any suspension? I believe it should hit 11's without any issues, very low 11's on a 100 shot assuming you get traction.

Suspension is stock . With out the pro starts its very low key not lowerd .

Might put in some v6 rear springs . But that's as far as suspension goes .

What are typical torquer v2 times ?

You should be deep in the 11's on motor.

If it doesn't run 11's you should run it off a cliff.

a lot of things about our setups are similar, my heads are slightly worked but not much and you have less weight and more stall

My best is 11.6 and best mph of 117 so far. This is before I put the HD 2-3 shift valve in the transmission so it always hit the limiter a little and shifted lazy. Now it nearly chirps tires on the street shifting to 3rd. For comparison it is running 7.4@95mph in the 1/8th on a 1.7 60ft

with the stock 2.73 or 3.23 gears that you have and a 60 sidewall tire the car is gonna be a dog! your gonna need to go to a steeper gear or a shorter tire or else id bet you will not be happy with your times.

The proper setup tqv2/ss4000 should easily go 11.40's in good air

I don't think they would make much difference. I would be shocked to see over .1 difference whether he had a 2.73 or 3.73.

Well those seem to be great times . 11.80s would be awesome and a 11.3 would be great on the bottle .

The car has 3.23 gears and aluminum drive shaft .

This is a quick project and only wanted it to run 11s built it in 3 weeks to race a co worker an will probably sell in after the race . Lol

Just need to make sure it runs good and clicks off mid high 11s before its sold !

Anyone else ? I knw a lot of people run the torquer v2

Just for reference. My car which has the TSP Torquer 2 on motor with 6sp at almost full weight went 11.7 at 118. With my nitrous converter after the th400 swap 11.8 at 115. Now with the same cam like 5 years later with heads and intake just went 9.31 at 146 on .99 jet. This is a proven cam.....

No need for a 28" tall tire unless youve got a lot of gear and have rpm restrictions, or you simply cannot hook IMO.. little tires are lighter anyway if you believe in that

Theres a lot of tall tire with littler gear cars on here that are stuck in the 1.7 60's and are about 3 mph low at the topend than what they should be at. Little tweaks and theyd see a big difference

As for the 28" tall tire I got both tires for $200 almost brand new . I knw they are not ideal for the a4 and rear gear but I should dead hook .

As far as what my expectations were 11.80s were the goal on motor and by the looks of things that might have been conservative . Spray didn't really matter was hoping the 100shot put me .4-.5 faster but wasent too worried and it will only be used when needed ( race against a faster car )

Kit is almost completely hidden

Has anyone ever gone slow with the torquerv2 and a a4 ?? Lol

Coworker runs 12.40s and wanted to make sure during the race I could put a few car lengths on him .

Well got the car running and transmission took a **** .

I do have a rossler terminator th400 sitting on the floor from another project I nights just trow in. , its a manual reverse valve body with transbrake and a Hugh's 4500 rpm converter .

Will it go faster or slower than the 4l60 an yank 4000 ?
Now I plan to up the shot maybe to a 125 and spray out the hole .

I guess rear end is the next thing to go ! Lol

Not saying it's ideal, but based on personal experience my car 60ft and trapped the same with a 275/50 as is did on a 325/50 with a 3.42 gear. It seems like it needs more gear or converter or both, but the point was the change in tires didn't help even though they were shorter and much lighter.

Shorter tire and gear should help some, but not enough between being a "dog" or not IMO.

The Truth.

I ran 11.9 with a similar cam and stock 853s with a trans on it's way out [ trans died 2 days later ]

With the trans fixed I expect 11.5-7 at least. If I had heads I'd expect 11.2-11.4 at the least
