Talking ran a new best :)

I have never posted in this section before, so I know 99 percent of you will not know my previous issues with the car. I was having major fuel issues with two different fuel pumps being bad, the best time I could ever get it was a 13.5. After getting the racetronix pump installedand no longer having 225 tires I got some Kumho 245s. there was a very slight chirp at lunch but they hooked a lot better than the bull crap I was running before lol. Hopefully once i finally get it tuned the times will be better or at least more consistent. .. anyways here is my time slip I will shut up now lol

Yea stall was about to be ordered then I lostmy job so parts are on hold for a while...

But speaking or drs.. are the nt 555r any good? I would mainly be using them at the track and then putting my normal wheels back on after? For the price of the Nitto 245 I can't complain.... Most other radials are 200+ and as stated above, money is tight lol

nice run, yea a stall and some DR's would knock off a good chunk, I have never personally ran 555r but I have heard and seen good results from them you just have to really get them hot at the track.

Yea I have an extra set of stock wheels and I wanna get some drags or ets but everything even for stock 16 size is expensive except the nt555r, so if I can't get any positive feedback I might just save up for some hoosiers... but I know u very my life from the nitto that's why I wanna go with them

just saying be careful if you run DR's on a stock 10 bolt, pretty good chance of breaking it with a good launch

My 135,000 mile TA has over 300 dragstrip passes on the stock 10 bolt.

More than 2/3rds are under 1.9 and I have about 50-60 under 1.8.

Some people get lucky my 94TA blew 2 trannies and the stock 10 bolt lasted 13 years and thousands of passes.

Stick cars use them up like match sticks also sub 1.7's will kill them quick.

Go with 555r's. Cheap and hook great.

I just pulled a 1.5 60 ft with my 305/35/18's.

I would routinely hit 1.6 on my z28 back in the day with 555rs.

Honestly only other things I plan on doing is stall and cam so hoping low 12s high 11s on dr would make me content to quit modding lol

I have been 1.75 on 245 555r's but wouldn't recommend them. The only way I got them to hook was long 2nd gear burnouts. Your car runs great for a stock converter

You have no LCA's or SFC's though... what do you expect?

MT drag radial are great. dust them off with a quick burn out is all they ever need. Consistent 60' with an auto.

I now have 555r's and yesterday I had two 1.68 60' times. On the third pass I found out about not putting enough heat in them and got a 1.70 60'. At least that's what I think happened.

Sounds like you have a good 10 bolt then, I had many friends break theirs when I was stationed in Florida and Utah, most of them were 6-speeds though
