Yup, when ever I get around to making the road trip to my closest strip, I wouldn't be overly disappointed with those times...would be my first also.

I'm pretty sure I saw your run. Was this last night at the grand bend motorplex by any chance? If you were then I was there and I am pretty impressed if this was your first go at it.

Your first run definitely looked better then the second even though you had the little bit of a lower time the second time around. Drag radials will get you into the upper 12s for sure.

Yeah, the first run felt stronger I had it in D on the first run. Second run we brought the tire pressure down to 27.5 and dialed the shocks to full firm and heated the tires better and had the tranny in over drive.

Well I'll share my experience, which isn't much. I knew quite a bit about these cars before I even had one. I knew that stock they cud do 13s no problem. I put a lid and cat back and drag radials on mine i thought Here I come 12.9, well in reality 13.6 Here i was. Ive since learned that what the car is 'capable' of, and what it will do in the real world are not guaranteed to be the same. I've never swapped gears, but I've heard they don't always deliver that much et. Took a shot of n2o for me to hit lower 12s. I say ur times are good so far.

You need some tires and a torque converter. 60ft time is not very good. Tires would help that and get you in the 12's for sure.

^^^ Yeah this for sure!! But remember this is a viscious circle, more traction means you'll need more susp. to handle it! Then you'll want more power because it's hooking and on and on!! But Good Luck this is the insanity that we thrive on!! Larry
