408 t88 4l80e turbo camaro 1/8th mile
sup guys got a decent run in at the track today. car is a 408 ci 8.5:1 comp, 225 afr heads, older precision T88, victor jr intake, 234 duration cam, 4l80e with a circle d 2b (2800) multidisk converter (didnt lock it up today). weighs 3800+ pounds, well it did with the t56 haha probably more now.
anyways running 14psi 13-14 degrees of timing and 91 pump fuel only
ran a 6.52 @ 110.8. had a 1.59 60' before this one but it blew the tires off shifting into 2nd gear.
converter is tight leaving off the 2 step at 3000rpm. this car gets a lot of street duty though so i wanted a tight converter. still can do some tweaking to get it to leave harder... leaves with 3-4psi off the 2 step at 3000 rpm.

And if there is video… being subjected to it, would just be cruel and unusual punishment.
I LOVE racing, but I HATE this end of it… .
