I ran the Nitto drag radials on my car when I first got it together, and man did I struggle at the strip with them. At one point, I seriously thought I had something in the rear end broken it was spinning so bad.

I put a set of Mickeys on there, and it was an INSTANT night and day difference. I cut low 1.7X 60' times and I only run 12.9/13.0

The MT drags are a night and day difference compared to the Nitto DR. But the nitto DR is a night and day difference from a standard radial tire IMO.

With quite a few track visits, I got an honest 10k miles out of my nittos. Some get more. I was lucky to get 3k miles out of my MT DR's. And they quit working as well after 600-700 miles or so.
