If nothin else I forced the moderator to change the list to
" ls1 /ls6 F bodies only" or "ls1/ls6 Corvettes"..
Should not be called "Cam only Cars"
More like "Cam Only LS1/LS6 F body and Corvette list"
I understand the reasons for it.... 9's here I come... Cam Only!!!

I am just going to laugh when someone cares enough to take a 25.2 Spec chassis and toss a cammed only LS1 in there and go smash the record, or a Ultima GTR which weighs w/ motor around 2200 pounds and go smash.
Or probably to the highest extent a rail car.
My prediction would be the 25.2 spec car would be doing it 1st. We had seen one of those rollers for sale and the plan was to go break all those records, then put a real motor and power adder and go racing. Just gotta get a guy with the $$$ who wants to do that and it can/will be done.

why ? can be done with a car with a 6 point easyer and a good suspension

My car is not faster than yours because of weight.
If you exclude me from the list I have no problem with that.
I now understand that this is an LS1/LS6 F body only list.
Maybe If I swaped into an early body by Fisher and ran the number.......

Stating fact that if someone took a different/lighter chassis then a gutted 4th gen would be able to easily be at the top of the list and actually the 25.2 spec car would be both.

You are correct that a lighter car will go faster. no disagreement here.
I apologize for assuming your statement inferred that my car was of fast because of it's weight.
You are also correct it is a low compression truck motor not even an all aluminum high performance engine...... and it has a carb to boot...

This engine is stock displacement, cam only, truck motor.
1.5 points lower compression and weighs 100 lbs more than an LS1/LS6, over the front end. even... Bad, right?
You all know how superior fuel injection is to a carb .. right?
You could even argue that an F body is more aerodynamic at 136 mph
Where is my advantage again?
Maybe you should put a truck engine in you Firebird, we could call it a Fire-truck.... would probably be fast........
