Gen 3 LQ4 6.0 83mm Turbo Malibu - 9.03 @ 148
Just wanted to share a friend's street car. Car has been running well for a couple years now but recently got a new PB of 9.03 @ 148. Timeslip is at the end of the video.
Setup:
High mile Gen 3 LQ4 6.0L engine
Stock rods, pistons, crank
Stock 317 heads
PAC 1218 Valvesprings
LS9 Cam
Holley Single Plane Intake with Edelbrock low-pro elbow
Bullseye S400 83mm Street Billet Turbo
Frozen Boost A2W I/C
TH400 with Dusty Bradford PTC converter
Quick Performance 9" Rear End
Viking DA Shocks on all 4 corners
Holley HP EFI tuned by me
Car is full weight with a cage, x-brace, 9", th400, stereo system, turbo system and I/C. No skinnies on the front and 275 MT Pros out back on heavy wheels. Car is flying and has been going deep 9s all year long in the heat, this past weekend we had some cooler temps and with the new shocks we were able to get it to hook consistently. Still need to do a lot of setting up with the suspension but the car is making some steam.
