Just a pro 5.0. I’m running the auto meter shift light/ tach combo that’s about 2-1/16 diameter.

Thanks man, I’m still at it. Good to see you on here. I may have to pull this motor, found metal shavings in the top of the heads.

I’ve had them rebuilt since I found this out, gonna get this thing back going for the race next week. Looking at maybe going with a good shaft assembly after the races this year. T&d, Jesel or crower. Don’t wanna spend that kind of money but also don’t want to deal with this again.

Comp BSR shaft rocker system might be worth some research and likely a cheaper option. I assume they'll work on your TFS heads.

These are Harland sharp adjustable rockers I bought back in 2011. They made it right and replaced them under their lifetime warranty deal

I really like that setup but the stockers would break with the 500 + spring pressure I’m running. This is a low lash solid roller setup from cam motion. I wish I had a nice cheap option but I’m thinking the higher end stuff will have better quality trunnions(I hope) lol. I asked if Hs would do bushings with these pedestal style rockers but they cannot. They said they can with their actual shaft design but they are around 1300 bucks.

I plan on watching these rebuilds with a close eye. Gonna take one apart after race season and see what it looks like if not sooner. I’m actually pretty happy with how these guys at Harland Sharp treated me. Not happy with the trunnions deal but they got them done quick and replaced a couple rockers for free also.

Ahh I see. The llsr setup is great for what your doing, so worth the added costs. One could run the bsr system with their xda pushrods but pressure rates still high.

What are your thoughts on the McLeod slipper? I’ve got a buddy interested in getting that for his TT Gto.

I’ve had a hard time learning what it needs on adjustment. I burned it up the first go round. I’ve learned that I really need a sensor for input shaft speed. With that I could compare engine rpm with input shaft speed to know how much it’s really slipping. I think for the best setup it needs to be slipping just enough to not over power the tires on the launch and have enough weights on the levers to keep it locked up once the car is up to speed.

The other issue is my adjustment hole is too far forward on the bellhousing. This is to get to the adjusters for the springs on the front of the pressure plate.

The input shaft speed sensor and the ability to log that I feel is a must have. Would make tuning this thing so much easier. If I would have known this several years ago I would have had one installed or see if one could be.
