Default **New Personal Best in the 1/8**

Went to a no prep event last night and ran a new Personal best in the 1/8. Previous best was 7.04 @ 96 mph with a 1.46 60' ft

The only changes were adding a chrs1313 prostock ram air, 42lb injectors, maf delete/re-tune & Viking Warrior Coil-overs to the front.

Resulted in the following

60' - 1.435
330 - 4.397
1/8 - 6.92
mph - 98.36
Full weight- 3600 +

i believe with less fuel in the tank (on full last night) and some track prep i might be able to crack off a 6.8x

either way i am excited to have joined the 6 second club in the 1/8 with my full weight car. NA

Congratulations Mike! I know there is 6.80s in your future. Humidity was high last night and no prep at all was hurting you for sure!

Congrats on the pass, that is 10.88-10.92 in the 1/4, very close to my wifes t/a in ET. What did you run for air pressure and you flashing the converter? That is something I still want my wife to try with the PT converter we have.

Thank you! I'm running Mickey Thompson Et street R. 255/60-15 I had mine at 18 psi. that was flashing the converter.

I believe i could tighten my rebound up some and get more out of the 60'. I've got to get an aftermarket driveshaft before i go back.

Yeah my wife has been loading her PT4000 at 2,000ish rpm, and we are running 19lbs of air, next time we go for TNT going to try to leave at 1000-1200rpm and see if it likes that better, but she index races hers alot so 2000rpm seems to give her the best reaction time.

Yeah, on our local track it went 6.77@99mph with a 1.42 60FT with the 10 ways set at 4 clicks from soft, Da at that event she won was -100 FT, The SCT darlington event she won the women's class running 6.82-86 da was 800-1500 that weekend shocks were 2-3 slicks from soft. Might try 5 clicks next spring when we go out, Im trying to talk her into a intake.

I had my Vikings set all way tight on the comp and I went all way negative then up 8 clicks on the rebound. A friend standing at the line said it jerked the wheels up pretty quick. wish I would of gotten a video.
