Get a 3500+ converter and that will all change.

Here is how the 1.58 run looked:
I don't have that pass on video, I do have a 12.11 in this one:
Street Sleepers vid Unfortunately it is not on Nittos.
Here is Wilwaxu cutting a 1.5x on Nittos: He did a low 11 sec pass on nittos too, but I was in the lanes at that time and did not get it on video either.
Wilwaxu on Nittos
Trust me, a 1.58 is possible on Nittos. Check the boards, Wilwaxu ran a 1.60 on these same tires stock internal. 12.06 is dead on for that MPH. I have 3:73's now and was going to Test and Tune tongiht to try for 11's on ET streets, but it got rained out.
So for 1984Camaro:
Did you get any tuning with that torque convertor install? If not it will hit the rev limiter and shift loose. Without tuning you should gain .4-.5, with tuning it should gain .8-.9. The rev limiter and torque management are the biggest limiting factors.
Good luck!
