Bracket Finals Results. Well 1st I would like to say that the NHRA bracket finals are kinda boring. On Saturday I got 2 time trails. 1 at 10:05 am and the other 1 at 6:05 pm. I hate waiting. At the IHRA bracket Finals we have gambler races both Friday, Saturday and run the team chapionship race on Sunday. I can't wait for this weekend.
Now for the results. I lost in the 3rd round. I dialed a 10.75 and the other guy a 10.45. I cut a .028 light to his .060. I ran a 10.73 riding the brake through the finish line. He ran a 10.42 with a 2 to take the win. I just took to much strip.
Oh well I did pretty good for my 1st NHRA bracket finals. 
I had a hard time dialing the car. We have made some changes to the car the last couple of weeks. You know, always trying to go faster.
A new fast intake, fast 90mm tb and a slp 85mm air mass. Nothing like taking a perfect 10.50 to low 10.60's bracket car and turning it into a high 10.60 to low 10.70 inconsistent bracket car. We will fix that this week. I have a new fuel pump from Thunder Racing and Madman will put it in tomorrow. I have the stock fuel pump still in the car and I know we have good pressure but I think we are low on volume. At least that is what we have come up with. 
Well, time to get to work washing and cleaning up the Hot Rod tonight and off to Madmans tomorrow morning for the new fuel pump. I will be ready for this coming weekend. $2500.00 to win Friday and Saturday and $5,000.00 to win Sunday.

Nice. At least you went 3 rounds. I didn't get out of the 1st round. I had no data to go on with that good of air.
Oh well. You still have the IHRA. I'll have to wait for next year.

congrats on making a few round Coach! For your first trip to the finals, I'd say Plenty of seasoned vets still get handed the occasional loss, just use it as motivation for this weekend!

Good Job Coach. I couldn't make the race but my friend David Guidry who drove my car last year at the bracket finals lost in the final to Jeromy Hefler. Dave runs a burgandy 69 Vette that runs 9.30's on motor. He had good lights thru eliminations(2 were .002) and red light in the final with a -.002 I raced non E at NPR Friday night and got beat in the 3rd round also the guy I ran had a .003 to my .030, next round he had a .000. Seems like this year everyone is trying to hit it out of the park on me

Coach i was out there this weekend too i thought that was you in that peuter Z i was in the silver and blue Z and the blue 65 corvette vert went 2 rounds in the vette lost .019 light ran 10.287 on a 10.29 to his .058 light and 11.45 on a 11.42 i took too much stripe too and i redlit in the camaro .010 all in all it was fun and interesting but that 9 hour drive home was long
