Default Fast 90 Manifold with stock Heads/Cam results

Well my ET didnt improve ( traction and clutch are now a major concern ) but But with Lid only i went 105 mph once but 103 seems to be the standard, with Dynatech Headers and Lid i went 107.5 mph and with the 90mm Fast intake and Nick Williams throttle body tonight i went 109.4 mph and 109.38 mph. This is through the stock Catback. My magnaflow goes on wednesday when i have some time. We'll see what it mph's in 2 weeks with the addition of that.

I went 13.17 @ 105 best with just an SLP lid and the LS6 intake but my 60ft was 2.0X now i cant cut anything better then a 2.2X with the addition of these mods. Some tires and a clutch are next.

Keep me informed on how the 90/90 setup goes, I'm headed in that direction, rebuilding my motor now & after the bank account recovers from that, I'm leaning towards the 90/90 with a DP setup.

Interesting results... I have a FAST 90mm intake sitting here for my new motor in the works. However, I was considering putting the FAST intake on w/ a NW 90mm TB to see how much deeper into the 12's I could go with stock internals this winter. I was told by a local shop that I'd lose a ton of low end and run slower. But your results seem to tell otherwise.

Maybe I'll decide it with a coin toss this fall.

Congrats on the extra MPH, a solid 2 MPH on your car is impressive. Did you do any tuning after the intake install? Or did you just throw it on and run the car?

I have not tuned the car from either the header swap or manifold swap. I dont know what the DA was, but the weather is almost always nice, its hawaii. I noticed i lost a little low end, my 1/8th mph is the same, its WOT in 3rd and 4th where i feel the pick up in power.

Cant quote the DA, but its not nice as Scott mentioned, the weather seems nice, but the DA sux monkeyshit through coffee stirrers. And on his 90/90 runs it was definately worse, as I asked some of the guys that actually check DA. like I said cant quote it, but when reference with a recall the DA was higher than its been the last 3 weekends.

Scott, get that Textralia clutch and some glue will ya.

Losing low end scares me w/ my A4 car. It leaves to soft for me now. I may try it anyways so I can sell my LS6/ported TB this fall.

I can help you figure out the DA for each run and see exactly what you picked up if you like. What was the date, time, and what track on both the before and after runs with the 90/90?
