hopefully i can attend that day, if work allows...but regardless it wont change the fact that a all motor gen III car has gone 8's.....
the only thing that can and will happen is to further push the bar...and make the cars faster....

You know, this is my idea on that statement. Since you think that you will be the next fastest. How about you put up some sort of challenge. Say a wager. That way the true fastest will be known. I'm sure a large sum of money is enough to bring a few racers to a track. And if I know Tom..it sure will bring him there Then, the fastest, sha'll win.

He has it until someone proves otherwise.
I'd like to say congrats to the guys for being the first. Its an achievement no matter how you look at it. Unfortunately there are folks on both sides who really aren't the ones who own the cars, or do the work, they are just on the fringe and thus want to ride on someone coattails and posture here on the internet.
I see a couple of points here. Camn did it first. Judson didn't. I don't see Jud, or Camn bashing it out with one another, just a bunch of nut swingers basically on both sides playing out a bunch of hype. Judson's car might go faster, but it hasn't, so until it does all the threads are wasted time and effort IMHO.
Houston and Chicago both have an active racing scene. We saw this when Scandalous came down here to race. I have to give those guys big props for coming down to race. Of course that competetive nature sometimes comes out in these threads. Point being is what happens is fact. What should have happens or might happen is B.S. Houston should have won game 2 of the WS. A bad call gave it to the Sox. Point being is that it doesn't change the fact that the Sox are the 2005 WS champs. No ammount of posturing or wasted posting is going to change a fact. Facts are facts... How you choose to interpret them is up to you.
It'd be nice to see folks show up at the same time to race. But sometimes it isn't possible. I'll cite our example. Tommy is a farmer he has 3 months of the year when he is really off. So, Thunder is the only race we can make. So, we show up. I understand other folks may not have $2K to pay for fuel lodging, expense, etc.. to come down and make folks on the internet happy about whatever "record" they hold. As I said, its nice to meet folks, hang out, and have a good time racing.
Anyway, I'm tired of the B.S. on both sides. How about unless you are directly involved with the car and can speak for it or the owners/builders you just refrain from posting anything other that a congratulatory note....
