Swapping with TH350(What to expect)
Last night with about the same weather ran 12.58 and 12.48 I think I might have ran bad because I upped the fuel and timing with my programmer because I even shed 120pds off the car and still ran bad. I don't know what went wrong. DA that night was 4144 at 4000ft of elevation weather was the same as before. On my last pass I blew off the tranny cooler line and lost about a gallon of oil and did not get to run another pass.
Keep in mind that I am at 4000ft of DA and I am running this setup with stock programmer tuning only I have not had a chance to Mail order tune much less Dynotune. I am hitting rev limiter at least 6 times from 2-3 shift and i am only shifting at 6500 rpms or 6600 Rpms which the programmer only allows. This is a stock 4L60E with 3500 converter and 4.56 gears.
I am sick of this tranny and PLANNING A TH350! w/transbrake and about a 5000stall converter. Lets say my tuning is the same as running 12.3's how much more should I expect to gain if at all through the Th350 w5000stall and tranny brake.
Another Ls1 with MS3 cam and 205 AFr heads with M6 was running 12.01 and 12.04 that night. Lost to him in final round at a charity shootout because of low tranny oil due to a spill.

but i honestly believe the trex untuned with a 3500 converter.. well i think youd run just as fast, with the stock cam man
