You'll see that he is actually on a stock block and stuff with 18 INCH DR's and ran 11's with the car on a good tune. Read up on it cause that's where I get my numbers from, and he even provided the time slip for it to back it up.
That site that you provided is rubish cause The Greddy kit they have listed is when they tested it at only 5.7 psi to meet CA regulations at the time. 337 at that PSI......yeah that's about right.

I had a little fun with a 350Z on the street from a stop I went past the guy from behind and and then cut back in because my lane was merging with his before he even new what hit him. Then he tried to put his foot down to catch me. To late I'd just made him look like a chump!
They are 0-60 5.5 ls1 0-60 5.0. I do have a stall but you have an M6!
You should walk him!

I am going against the norm here and going to say it MAY be close. You said he dynoed 284 rwhp and ran a 13.8. 98 LS1's typically dyno 29x rwhp and with a good driver run low 13's. I see a ton of guys new to racing (including myself) run high 13's. So if you get a launch with a 60' below 2.1x and get down the track smooth you win...if not it will be close. I say this b/c from what you said what his car puts down and what he ran he is a good driver with a strong Z. Good luck man

That chokemaster is gonna hurt you. I think you'd be better with the stock exhaust on there honestly.
That must be the most powerful naturally aspirated 350Z ever made from the factory to put down 284whp, or the most optimistic dyno. They typically dyno around 235whp. Dunno how he added 49whp with bolt ons, cause in Import Tuner they barely got over 240whp with cold air intake and a catback exhaust.
Did he show you his dyno sheet?????

Read past posts, with bolt-ons and his UTEC he put down 289 initially with a little knock at PDXTuning. Through a dozen more pulls they tuned it to 284 rwhp. BTW, I think I'll be fine with my exhaust for now, thanks.

Get your car dynoed at the same place. My guess is they have an optimistic dyno. Those cars dyno at 235-240whp stock, and bolt ons haven't been shown to really add power to them. Boosted is, of course, different, but even then it's an uphill battle for him to catch up with you.
Why hasn't this race happened yet?
