low trap speed...
I have a '01 WS6 cam and bolt on car with a 150 shot. Last night it went 11.5 at 114 with a 7.5 1/8th and 1.65 60ft. Im running a fuddle 3800 stall with a moser 12-bolt with 3.73's. What is the cause of the low trap speed? I used to trap in the mid to low 120 range with my 6-speed. Anybody have any input on this?? Im new and ignorant to this automatic thing.

What size converter/ company. Is it slipping? Your converter will rob HP and multiply torque. Your trap speed will drop a bit with a larger converter. When you drop your 60' your mph will drop.

I'd call fuddle up and run this by them. I have a TCI and they took care of me until i had mine figured out. Its probably your converter or trans slipping thats why your mph is down.

Its the convertor im having same problem......My H/C car made 413 rwhp "locked" but with a 1.7 60' and hammering all the way i went a blistering 111 mph.... Tell me how i can make that power and not trap at least 115 or more on motor????? and I know my tune is right on and my driving is fine......like after i leave pretty hard the car just does not pull like it should.....never has since day one of the Fuddle....thinkin bought a Vig REAL hard right now......
