I would say yes you should be faster....even with that DA. Although your 60's wasn't very good either. Even your dyno numbers seem low but the stock exhaust could be holding alot back on that motor.

Cats and stock muffler???? You can not eat like an elephant and **** like a bird.
Motors are air pumps, more hp more air. You DA does not help, I live in Denver 7500 is good air for us, I know how it can hurt, but do not let it be an excuse. Run a little more gear and a lot looser converter than most and the air will not be such of an issue. escpecially since you have the cubes with decent compression.

It is the kooks metallic catted y and I know the ws6 muffler and and stock I pipe are a restriction, just didnt think it would be that much. Planning on a 4" I-pipe with a 4" cut-out where it goes over axle. As far as the converter, I didnt want one to loose because I plan to spray 200-250 and didnt want to worry about spaying through the converter. Bad95, yes the tranny is built... as good as an a4 can be. Anyone have more thoughts. I was looking for at least 1.5x and 6.xx NA.Thanks.

Let it stall, let it breathe. Open the exhaust and shoot it!

What's up man! I seen you out there when I ran. The DA was 4400 Friday night. Open up that exhaust and get your 60's down you'll get your ET where you want it.

Do you have qa1's on the car?

ouch...7.5x. you definately need exhaust, bump it up to at least a 3800 n2o stall and you wont have to worry about the spray. odds are, you wont see a 6 in abilene on motor, but on juice...yes. my guess is with a better stall you can hit a 7.2. hp numbers seem a little low.

Im gonna say that your et is just plain shitty. Not to cut on your car because you have alot better setup than me.

I think your car will run very low 7's on motor and possibly high 6's with the right converter and open exhaust

I'm building a similar motor, and a LM is what I am runing for a catback thru it. I think your converter is way too tight, I have a converter that should stall at about 5500 on a 250 hit of nitrous out of the hole, and about 4200 or so on motor... and I think on motor it's probably gona be a little tight for max track performance.

A cutout at the end of the Y would help alot, a much looser conveter, and get some traction.... you're leaving .2 on the table from the first 60 feet at least You should be cutting in the mid to low 1.5's with a good suspension setup and good hook. Get that 60 foot time into the low 1.5's or better on motor like it should and I'd say a 6.8 would be an achievable goal, and the mph will definately come up with it, I wouldn't be surprised to see that car go 98+ in the 1/8th once it's done.

Shocks, and suspension tuning, a cutout and a looser converter are all that are holding tha car back from being capable of running well into the 10's on motor in the 1/4 that I am sure of.

with that big of a cam and heads it needs to spin at a decent rpm and your small stall is not a help...

what is your intake setup? if you dont have a 90/90 i'd look into that first along with a better exhaust.... if it were me i'd bring that camshaft down to a 232/240 duration... but thats just me... i like a smaller duration to help on the bottom end and let the spray carry you on the top end... or vice versa which by the looks of it that cam should act nicely with a 200 shot off the line... that will help your 60ft

Went 7.29 @ 95.85 with 3" cut-outs after cats. Still looking for a 6.xx NA. I guess maybe a new verter.

7.29 isn't too bad, that' is getting better. I'd bet a looser converter would knock a bunch more off that. How was the 60 foot?

that cam is still huge... you need about a 4400+ stall...i'd bet you would get better results with a 23x/24x duration cam...

60's were 1.69, 1.72. I'm thinking new stall (Or hit it with 250 hehe . But that will be later trying for 6's NA) and maybe some Bogarts
