I now daily drive the car. Believe me the power steering is worth it. Plus the weight savings would be minimal anyways.

I like both ford and chevy, but I used to think I would hate a mustang with a chevy engine in it. You changed my mind. Nice car!

Dude. That car is bad! I used to have a 92 LX 5.0 convert. It was such a turd. An LS1 notch is exactly what i will build some day. Sweet car man.

Thanks again for the comments.

The list was copy/pasted in here. I made it 6 months ago.

As far as a conversion kit. Im sure someone will come out with one soon. There is alot of demand for it. Id expect one of the k-member companies to do it first because there is no direct bolt in k-member yet. Every option used by people on this board requires some amount of custom work.

Not sure it will work on a fox body, but when I did my SN95 swap I extended the mass air wires , and mounted it on the pass. side inner fender as a homemade cold air kit. My full weight 95 mustang with a 2000 ls1/a4 swap has gone 11.8 (all motor, 10.85 w/100 shot), so I don't think you will have any problems getting into the 11's

I would think u would want the MAF sensor to be closer to the throttle body. So get a better reading of the air going into the engine.. Just a thought

ive heard of the fuel charts getting messed up if there was a large bend before the MAF because the sensor could not get an accurate reading due to the different velositys of air on opposite sides of the sensor...think of taking a turn at 80 mph in the inside lane...then take that same turn on the outside, not only did you feel less force against you but it took you longer to travel the same distance as the inside turn...how would the air change going through a tube, and if any what effects would they have?

As long as the maf is placed in between the tb and air filter and there are no leakes in the tubes it will read fine. No mater where its placed. However like boondiggys said there needs to be straight pipe in front to make sure there is no turbulance at the maf.

I can guarantee it. I showed this to a bunch of Mustang guys and they all hated it, saying how it was stupid cost wise and how you could do the same for a lot less if you stuck with Ford parts.
