Yeh like I said it worked out perfect for you guys...just didn't help the show's integrity at all.

I am not knocking you guys at all...if I could do the same arrangement with them I would. lol

First off, congrats again to the two of you guys for *****-to-the-wall racing. You guys reperesented ls1 tech, gear grabbers, and true racers very well.

Now, as for the ebay crap, who cares. I would be happy watching the show if the never made the person give the car away beacuse that's not what makes the shows exciting. It's the adrenalin rush of racing, PERIOD. Although I don't consider myself a 'racer' my heart rate still goes up and I get goose bumps when I get myself on the track, or even when someone pulls up next to me at a light and wants to race.

Fact is the show was great because of the racing, and not who got to keep the car or what the ebay reserve was or that you guys are keeping your own cars.

Once again, best PINKs episode to date.
Be proud.

Glad you kept the car guys! I've already made my comments about it, so hope the 'Bird is back to banging gears again soon!

Glad to see the car stays in the family. Screw the show, it's already filmed and in the books. Best episode, for the show you fellas put on you earned them what that car was worth so you deserve it.

Again, I've said it in other threads but you all talking about the "integrity" of the show need to get over it. Seriously it's a freaking TV show, it's pretty lame that you get that worked up over it.

Would you watch football if you knew who was going to win because it was fixed? Just a question...everything is just entertainment when you break it down...

I would alway want the option to buy the car back for a set price. Like 5K or 10K. That would still put the thrill in it.

So what did it go for? I saw it was stuck at 41,900 for a couple of days, but I didn't see the auction end. I can't access ebay at work here....stupid Websense!

$41,900 reserve not met. Knowing the reserve was $42,000 I can't see why anyone would even bid on it, other than to say they were the high bidder on the car on pinks. You're not supposed to disclose the reserve amount to begin with. The three people that bid $42,000 then retracted their bids are ********.

So what happens with the car now? Do you get to keep it?

What he said. That is awesome that it stays in the family. Those are both unreal cars. I hope to do something like that with my brother some day...
