Ms4 Track Time
Took my car to the track yesterday and got a 7.43 @ 97 mph with a 1.73 60 ft. on a 100 shot & ET streets. I was leaving the line at around 4000 rpm. I didnt want to go any higher since my car still has the 10 bolt. The car bogged off the line pretty bad. It was around 90 degrees here yesterday. My car is currently a cam only with 3.73 gears, pacesetter LT's ported throttle body & MAF. oh yeah 100 shot. I'm thinking a cut out, ASP, 410's, and more nitrous before the end of this year. Last year I ran my car with the same set up with a B1 cam instead of the MS4 in 50 degree weather and the car went 7.61 @ 92 with a 1.61 60 ft. I am VERY pleased with the power improvment with the MS4. Here is a video of a couple of runs I made during the day.

If you watch the second video of my car it ran a 7.54 @ 93 with missing 3rd gear. So the car could have possibly gone 7.20s-7.30s on that pass if I wasnt such a non driving fool.

yes, all of the above. but the trap is what gets me. an ms4 cammed stick car should REALLY out-trap me, et just shows how well the car is set up.
in 94* weather with the humidity @ 100+% the car still ran high 87 eting 7.7x/7.8x, i have yet to make a pass in weather cooler than 85*. da was like almost 3,000ft.
just seems low on power...i would point at the tune, you need a REAL tune, man.

I'll go to the track again soon and post some more engine only times. I know the car can get much better than 8.0s. The other day I really didn't care what the car ran without nitrous. I rarely ever run it at the track without spray. The ***** addictive, once you use it you don't want to go without it.

We just want to see some numbers out of the MS4 N/A is all. That at least shows how good the cam is working and with so little info/track results out there, it's getting lots of praise...
BTW, congrats!

My MS4/PRC vette runs like a bat outta hell on the last 1/8th, but the first 1/8 seems duplicate of my old MTI C2 cam/Heads setup. I'll have N/A #'s in the next weekor two, but on a 100 shot ran 7.0's at over 100mph (first time to track on drag radials).
