Last night I was lucky enough to win the Spring/Summer points chase. Next race I will race the winner of the past Fall/Winter points chase in a 2 of 3 shootout for the Track Championship. The winner gets a Gold Card and the runner up gets a VIP card(1/2 off). Its been a tough season and I am very happy to have done well. Thanks to the guys from Thunder Racing for the help this year. Congrats Frank. Split points season eh? I've seen a few tracks do that and it blew up in their face, so how do your local racers think of it?

Thanks guys. Derek It seems to work well at our track. The one season that we didn't run the split a couple of drivers ran away with the points and the hot summer races suffered car count. One other thing thats a bit interesting if you add up all 18 races of both seasons the guy that i'm running in the shootout and I are 1&2 also with him having 1 more round win than me. Hmmm, Thunder Track day...I haven't been in a car sence I retired last fall. I may have to throw something together and make that. I don't think I've been out to NPR more than a time or two since Kroft left.
