Back then we felt that if the weather was there and if our slicks wasn't worn out with the cords starting to show. We could have just made it into the 10's, but we didn't expect 10.92

 

What gear are you going to run in the 12 bolt? 4.10s? Any plans for a looser verter?

 

great times man! very inspiring. i'd love to shoot for the stock internal record too, but i'm pretty sure a lot of guys would cry foul because it's an ls1 "Mustang". oh well, i'm gonna see how fast i can go anyway if i can put it all together by spring.

btw.......if my math is correct, you're only going through the traps at about 6100rpms??? if so, you've Definately got room to grow if you push it a little and then go for the cam only record! good luck to you and get some video up.

 

Going to be running 3.73's. May contact TCI and talk with them about a different convert ,but No plans to change the converter at this time.
Our plan is to just go and have fun with the SS and surpise those that don't know what these LS1's can do.
