Default New Best 9.65@139

Had a awesome time at kcir this weekend. Thrashed on my car to get it done in 5 days and it payed off.

1.28 60'
6.09 @112.8 1/8th

9.65 @139.65

We think its running out of fuel on the top end. Not bad for the first time out with the new motor, and yes its still a 4-speed

Should have a video very soon, I know one of my passes I shifted second in the air and clicked the 60' on the rear tires Im still pumped about it, here are some pics to hold you over.

yeah, its a ram. IM running 1960 lbs pressure

Gator, the torque is sick compared to the 357. Its alot like my old motor just little m block and a little better heads. I have the same intake and carbs on it I cant believe it ran that first time out. Im hoping to get some weight out of it this winter and try for some 9.40's

That car is movin!!! It is going to fly when its all dialed in.

I tried the mccleod soft lok clutch this weekend it is an adjustable just like Todd's. It wouldn't hold the car just slipped it *** off and come to find out it broke and one of the adjuster screws and it backed all the way out the pressure plate. The clutch is awesome if it would just work right and not break. They are going to take care of it and I'll try it again.

I f it doesn't hold the car when I get it back I will run the ray metallic disc like Todd and screw this sintered iron disc.

My clutch is adjustable from 250 to 1800 lbs where Todd's need more pressure for that style disc ,but the style Todd has hits the tires very hard not good for a 6spd

Congrats Todd, I want to see what it does on the dyno as far as A/F considering you just slapped the carbs and intake off the old setup.
