I just looked at the link in your sig, your curve looks good and you got nice #'s, how heavy is that car? You make 90rwhp more than I did in my old camaro, which at about 3400lbs went 11.39 at 117.7(118.7 was best mph) with a pt4000 and 3.42's. Hit the dyno with the new stall/tranny and see what it does, the #'s you made makes me think that pye3600 was very efficient though which is good.

Yeah I would say something wasn't right on your previous setup to only be cutting 2.0's. Heck I did that stock on street tires.

Anyways congrats on the new times, must be like a different car.

that converter you were running is way small and the shift extensions suck, plus running with 3.23's your motor probably really bogged down on the shifts.

i'm sure if you put the 4000 stall in along with the 3.73's you would have noticed the same difference.

the t 350 is just a lot stronger. downside is no lockup and no overdrive.

How long have you been running 9's or 10's on the 4l60? How many times has it been out? If none, what did you have done to it to get it to hold the power?

So, you have personnal 4L60E to TH-350 experience?

I know that there is a ton of ET to be gained in transmissions. I let a guy borrow one of my TH-350's to replace another TH-350 that he was running and he picked up a good 1/10th in the 1/8th! (mid 6 second car).

Yeah I have a little experiance with them I would be REAL hard pressed to say a TH350 is stronger then a 4L60E. I was breaking Th350s and TH400s before they even made the 4L60E

I would not waste my time on a TH350. If you go? Go to a TH400.

Hell guys I have changed tire pressure and picked up more in the 1/8th then that I only have a Slow car though

BTW Designed my first 700R4 trans. Brake in 1993

ONE day you guys will realize driver stupidity is 90% of the problem. We just tore down one of the 10 Second Transmissions. had two full seasons...15,000 miles and a few hundred pass's easy. Looked like brand new inside. The car run's mid tens...15Psi boost....and over 700Crank into the trans. and tips the scales at over 4,000 with driver

Oh yeah if you are not with in 500 miles don't bother to ask

I'd say ALL of your gains were due to converter. The PYE 3600 is made for a car with real power. You were running the wrong converter. A Th350 and a 4L60e are nearly identicle HP wise.

BTW the most common thumb rule is for every .1 sec in the 60' equals .15 in the quarter...
