if you try to hand held tune that car youll be using #7 piston as a paper weight..you just need to swap that converter or 373s or both ..yanks will give you some awsome 60 footers but i can see you need the car daily so use a vig.2800-3000.......that rear will take you to roll cage times with an auto..

they do work good and alot can be changed.its a great start to a close to stock ls1 and a cheap way to set stuff how you like it and more than likely DROP A TENTH OR TWO in the quarter for under 300 bucks.. my diablo tune pinged at wot but i straightened it out. profs in the pudding for me!!

i know the high stall is a sweet option but for the price and pullin the trans out, daily drivin with it and the extra heat,,,its alot easier to drop you quarter times with a tune first.

consider your raceweight. not everyone has their chassis weight down to ~3100 lb. i'd guess most stock auto cars to be 3,400-3,500 lb. the extra weight makes the car harder to move (hence the slower times..) also adding stress to the rear.

however, my full weight auto car went low 1.6x 60' MANY MANY times with no trouble. the car only experienced ONE wheel hop launch in my possession - which resulted in my quickest time on street tires. rolled out easy then dropped the hammer when it shifted to second gear - was a bad idea on radials @ the track - i thought for sure i was going to break it, evidently i got lucky.

10 bolts will take some abuse in auto cars if you DO NOT LET IT WHEELHOP. wheelhop is your enemy with any rear, ESPECIALLY the wimpass 7.5" 10 bolt.

chassis weight is not 3100 that would mean i weigh 265 lbs, the car is at about 3210 i know not that much higher but 100 lbs is 100 lbs...i know my 60fts were on great da days but none the less low 1.60s can be expected and i guess i am just lucky for now with my 10-bolt...

just stating that that 60ft can be done with the 10-bolt not that i run it all the time...

and i only experienced lifting both tires once...usually it is only one
