Default Stock Internals, 3600 lb raceweight = 12.18 @ 109

After a 5 month hiatus, finally got back to the track tonight. It felt good to be racing again. Went a little bit faster N/A. 60' times dropped quite a bit with the ET Street Radials vs ET Streets on motor. I've got some tweaking to do on the 150 shot though. I couldn't get the things to hook for *****. Looks like I might finally have to start adding some suspension mods I'm going to play with the tire pressure some more first though. First and Second pass on motor I had the tire pressure set at 25 psi and the car hooked good.

First pass is on the right.

On the ET Streets I usually 60' between 1.64 and 1.66. My previous best in good weather was 12.23 @ 110. Although it was a little disappointing not being able to hook on the juice I still had a great time.
First nitrous pass I kept the tire pressure at 25 psi since it was hooking just fine on my motor passes. I spun bad and aborted the run. Second pass I lowered the pressure to 21 psi and blew the tires off again. It's all good, I didn't expect everything to work perfectly my first time out on the new combo. If I can figure these tires out on the nitrous I might be able to get closer to my goal of 10.99 on the stock motor, stock suspension, and 10 bolt at 3600 lb raceweight. I know I'm shooting high since my previous best was 11.20 @ 120 but we have to have goals.

(HAVOC/Borat voice) "Thats very niiice" (/HAVOC/Borat voice)

Stock stall? Yank some weight out of that boat. I'm sure you can get an 11 out of it.
Poor 10-bolt.

Not a stock stall. Yank ST 4000

Since this car is still my DD, I'm not ready to start doing any weight reduction.

Gator, we need to find the sweet spot on these tires.

mark, remember this is a bone stock internally motor with no nitrous. 12.1 is bookin for as heavy as this beast is.

j-rod, you let me know when you want to go out. we will get that car hookin hard on the radials. it usually takes a few burnouts and a good track to run right. we just have to pick a night to hit the track when KU isnt playing in the tourney!

Congrats on the new best. How the hell does your **** weigh 3600? I have a 9" and no WR I am at 3605 half tank.

What was the DA? I went 12.18 @ 113 SI with stock mannifolds and Y and clutch on the 10 bolt with 4.11s. In 1000DA. Car was 3500 RW back then. Seams the car could 60' better and power is a little low since you are only trapping 109. Get a TA and LCAs and you should be deep 1.5s if not a 1.4 and maybe you need some tuning to squeez out a couple MPH.

Doesn't the Z28 weigh less then the SS? I think the formula's weigh less then the WS-6 also. The car weighed 3380 lbs and I'm 225 lbs. I'm not really sure what the DA was, but I'm going to look in to that.

No idea. Mine was 3300 without me stock minus spare and jack with SFCs and LCAs. I thought they were all pretty close. Maybe the converter is sucking more power than usual.

Congrats, that's hauling for the mods IMHO. Maybe my 3000 stall will come out of hiding soon...

The 12.1 @ 109 was on motor.

I attempted to hit the car with 150 shot but blew the tires away @ 21 and 25 psi. I've already run 11.2 @ 120 on the jug with different rims and tires on. 16" M/T ET streets

Badass times, im gona be converting to an A4 come the fall and my goal is to now run what your car is on motor. I also like the idea of shedding some weight and seeing some 11's stock internal.

12.1 is gettin' it for a stock internal full weight car.

Ya I guess you're right. I kept trying to compare it to my ET's but overlooked the fact that he is 400+lbs heavier than me. If Jarod was at DHII it probably would have went 12.0 as the DA was pretty low if I remember correctly. I still can't get over on how much these F-body cars weigh. -Mark

great times man! i can't wait to get some M/T radials on some 16's so i can get a good 60'. I ran the time in my sig on 17' nittos babying/peddling it out of the whole at Immokalee. I think with a good 60' i should be able to pull a good 1/4 time aswell. The time was stock internal, and about 100lbs taken out, spare/jack, backseat little crap

Thanks for the props fellas. I'll hopefully have some quicker runs on the juice once I get the tire pressure figured out with these new tires.
