ashws6 please update my et and speed. finally got my 2002 z28 back together LSX block 430 cubic inch hydraulic roller, cathedral port, with plastic LSX Wilson manifold. First outing with new combination netted one pass in good air of 9.29 @ 146.06mph. Hope to run quicker et with more time to tweak combination. Driver (me) did not do his job and hit rev limiter hard in low gear, please post this to your fastest NA list and let me know where i stand with hydraulic roller, plastic manifold cars. Car weighs 3180 lbs. that LSX block is heavy.

thanks coleman

thank you for updating my info. do you know if any of the super fast hyd ls based combos are still running the plastic manifold like me? our motor makes max power at mid 6000 rpm. not lots of power but 635 ft.lbs. of tq. how do we stack up against some of the other cars. we updated our car over the summer putting new wiring and fuel system. much safer. would also like to congradulate joe honeycut on his terrific pass. he and his wife are great people. and they work very hard. kind of how i was 25 yrs. ago! also much thanks to richard at strickly performance for helping tune the big stuff. we were fixing to give up! and mad man for his help and to the guys that do all the real work on my car!

Congrats on the new times. That's rolling on out Coleman. There's not many fast hyd based combos still running the plastic Wilson manifolds. We are still running ours because it gets the job done for us.

MadMan does know how to get the power to the ground.

Thanks man!

We were running the Hoosier 29x10.5W-15s Friday night. We also run Hoosier 30x10.5-15light weight radials. The radials are a quicker tire and real stable going down the track. We'll be swapping back to the radials next time out.

See ya at the track man!

No problem, congrats again on the time. My 9.50 pass (hyd roller) was with a factory plastic LS7 intake. But 9.2Xs is just silly

My old car, land down under LS1 on this board just went 8.74@154 in the firebird yesterday, and went 155.8 on one pass. Way too go Michael.

Does anyone know what the LS NA pump gas record is? There was a Car in Dallas Texas that claimed to have it at a 9.5X something, but that was a while back. We're shooting for it, but don't know where we need to be.

i ran a best of 9.8@138 with 1.37 60" on a pump gas (95) (Vid in the Sig)...but i'm sure that's no way near the record..

it's 402 LS2 with 225 AFR and a hydr. roller and Fast 90/90.....we are using the same Engine (and the whole setup) with Carb style intake (super vector) on my brother's 69 camaro,,,,we are looking for 9.6-9.7 on a pump gas..
