Our race weight is right at 3440#-3450# depending on fuel. We are not quite in the same league as these guys. We plan to be some day, but we are staying on the street and in pump gas mode

Once we commit to giving up the stereo, heater, defroster etc we'll shoot a little higher. Expect some 9.6-9.7s this Fall once we step into an aluminum block and let Greg Good build us another set of heads

Those top 2 still amaze me.

Back to the other specs request. I got busy and had to run but here ya go:

Cubes - 408 Iron block
Compression - 11.8:1
Heads - Cathedral port stock based 5.3 heads that were heavily massaged by G Good.
Valvetrain - Morel Hyd lifters, stock HS modified rockers, PP springs
Weight - 2 dang heavy
Fuel - HEB grocery store 93 octane
Shift points - 6500/6600
Tune - Stock PCM with HPTuners OLSD
Gears - 3.90:1
Tires - 29.5" Hoosier Drag slicks and 27" front runners
Tranny / Converter - Circle D 4L60E and 9.5" converter
Exhaust - 1 7/8 Kooks w/3" y-pipe with dual 3" cut-outs and SLP dual/dual catback

Don't know why it works.....but it does (Actually I do know why and I'd tell ya, but I'd have to kill ya )

A special thanks to Greg Good , Erik Koenig (HKE) and Circle D Specialties (OOoops )

Most, if not all, of these cars have manual transmissions.
