Darn close to them 8s
Didnt make it but pretty close, 9.02 @ 150.7 (5.77 @ 122 1/8 mile). Just coudnt get it go straight when I left with the 2 step above 3000 so I just turned it down and hoped for the best. Not bad for 3400lbs, power steering, power brakes, 346 CID, hydraulic cam, stock rockers, LS6 intake, stock throttle body etc at 18.5psi of boost. Maybe get it next time out, good weather is coming and so is some fresh tires

Wish I had a track that I could get that many runs in.

and a crazy driver.

Na, twenty years ago I wouldnt have let off the car until there were sparks flying or it just stopped moving on its own. I let off way too quick these days..

5_02ls1, Bowling green is 235 miles from west knoxville, 197 if you take some back roads - its a bit of a cruise. Not many 1/4 mile tracks around, if you are 11.50 or slower you can run 1/4 mile at London Ky - very nice NHRA track but too short for faster cars to run the 1/4. In the same weather you will run .2-.3 quicker there then Bristol in the 1/4.
